GreenPower Motor Co. rolled out the first of its next generation of all-electric school bus Thursday morning at its manufacturing plant in South Charleston, West Virginia. Kanawha County Schools officials took the keys to the first Beast Type D bus model, which has the longest range on the market at 300 miles on a single charge. GreenPower currently has 37 Type D Beasts in production for West Virginia, which are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
